ALL ARE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE! This workshop will focus on strengthening ties between the academy and school libraries. Namely, how can the School of Library and Information Science work with school librarians in support of our shared mission of preparing South Carolina’s students for success. Participants will review and discuss projects like student/practitioner mentoring and get an overview of the latest in research focused on school librarian success and helping students make the high school/college transition. The results of the session will help set the agenda for South Carolina’s Library School.
