Horry County Schools and many other SC school districts are encouraging teachers to incorporate cooperative learning (CL) in their lesson plans. This session will allow K-12 library media specialists to brainstorm strategies for effectively using CL in their classes. The presenters will address issues that make library instruction unique when compared to regular, classroom teaching and emphasize the ways in which CL structures are compatible with our content area. Classroom examples will be shared from the elementary and secondary school environment.
